These 3 sessions are the essential foundations to the course.
They are designed to equip young people to become effective leaders of Christian groups in secondary schools.
They should be included at the beginning of the training event.
The sessions are:
Core Session 1 (Welcome and Introductions)
- This session allows the young people to get to know each other in a fun and relaxed way.
Core Session 2 (The Bible and Leadership)
- This session will enable the young people to have an in depth look at what the Bible says about being a leader. This teaching will then be applied to the task of running a group in school. Core Session 3 (Why Have a group)
- This session will help the young people think about why they want to have a group in their school. They will be able to consider what the aims of a group could be as well as looking at what the Bible says about being God's people in school.
