2010 - Faith Adventure Weekend

Once again we risked another sunny weekend we took a group of lads away for the weekend for our annual Faith Adventure weekend. This year we took 5 Muslims and 5 Christian lads and extra leaders who were being trained in order to run more weekends in future years. So we were a bit squashed - but had a fantastic time.

Lunch Time

Playing Football

Rope Swing Challenge

We also took lots of risks - but good ones and ones that we thought about carefully first. Don't worry all the risk assesment was done and, apart from a few scrapes, everyone got home safely. We thought about why teenagers often take risks and engage in rsky behaviour and whether our faiths could inspire us to take 'Good risks'. To inspire our discussions we looked at the examples of Saleh and Elisha. The Group
