Training
Our staff run a range of training events in different parts of the country. To find out what is happening in your area visit the Count Me In! and Events pages. Of particular interest to those involved or interested in schools work we run residential courses:
- Training in Schools Work for those new or fairly new to schools work (including those for whom schools work is only a part of their role) - usually run every spring and autumn, and
- Advanced School for Schools Workers for those with a few years' experience in schools work - run every spring.
Both courses are five days long, run from Monday lunchtime to Friday lunchtime. A brochure for the next occasion when these courses run can be downloaded using the link in the top right of this page.
We are currently developing a local, non-residential version of Training in Schools Work called Bitesize. If you would be interested in this in your area please contact Field Ministries (schools@scriptureunion.org.uk).
