Included in the Re:Charge training day will be a meeting and training for Spring Harvest 5-7 teams (Space Academy) weeks 1 & 2 at Minehead 2012. Please note that training for Space Academy team will be free of charge, but please would team members submit a booking form to the Re:Charge Administrator to include session A3 and workshop choices for Sessions B & C (see booking form link above)

Sidmouth Family Mission
Date: 18–25 August 2012
Age range: 5 to 14s and their families
Volunteer cost: £65; Volunteer Accommodation: local homes
Sidmouth – famous for being part of the Jurassic coast and its popular folk week is set to become even more famous, now that there’s an SU mission there! Situated on the East Devon Coast, Sidmouth Family Mission offers an exciting and fun-packed week of events to help children and families get to know the love of God!
With the support of local churches, SidFM will work with children from 5 to 14 and their families to present the unchanging gospel of Christ in a relevant, credible way. Whether local to or on holiday in SIdmouth, this new mission will help you to generate or regenerate a relationship with Jesus. With a barn dance and a BBQ; music and mayhem; puppets and performances; sand-sculptures and sports Sidmouth Family Mission is set to fill you with fun and faith.
The team will be an enthusiastic bunch of Christians from various regions who will meet each morning and have an action packed programme of Bible–based activities to bring the stories alive. Before meeting again folk will be able to gather at the local Blackmore Gardens for the SIDFM show; hosting games, music, quizzes, dramas and puppets. With some Olympic themed events children will also be able to make new friends within afternoon age group activites. Hang out with your friends again in the evening and enjoy some family fun.
Sidmouth 2012 – JOIN US!
We are looking for a team of people who can commit to serving on mission for the full week, 18 to 25 August 2012. Whether it is your first time on a mission team or a regular, Sidmouth wants you! Perhaps you have a gifting for working with children and would love to share your faith and help them grow in theirs. If you have particular skills with technology, drama, music, puppet ministry, or are happy to stand in front of a microphone and make yourself look silly to further the gospel, then this is the mission for you. Team will stay in local houses and will use a local church as their headquarters, where they will eat, chat, worship, pray and chill out during the busy days. It will be a great opportunity to grow in faith as we also learn more about what God has in store for us as a team. 2012 is the year of the most exciting event to hit UK – Sidmouth Family Mission (and the small event of the Olympics)! GET INVOLVED!
