Inspiring Disciples

Disciple, noun: a person who is a pupil or an adherent of the doctrines of another; follower - learner – apprentice

The words of Jesus in Matthew 28 send us to make disciples; establishing faith that will grow, develop and last.

We want to reach children and young people with the good news but we also want them to be lifelong disciples of Jesus. How can we better understand how faith starts, grows and matures? What strategies can we use so that the children and young people we work with become disciples of Christ? Why do so many older teenagers leave the church? How might an understanding of the relationship between evangelism and discipleship stop this happening?

This stream will explore the connection between evangelism and discipleship and will give lots of practical ideas to enable you to be more effective in growing faith in children and young people.
