Abersoch is an amazing location to be to tell others about an amazing God and to praise him ourselves!
Located in North Wales on the Lynn Peninsula, the backdrop is set for an awesome mission! Working in various age groups, from 4 years up to adult, we aim to spread the good news of Jesus, and what he means to us.
A full programme with a range of activities, such as drama, crafts, games, small group work, beach presentations, evening activities such as a barn dance, a BBQ, a quiz or a treasure hunt to name just a few, runs for two weeks.
Mornings offer holiday club-style activities for different ages; afternoons on the beach include a short presentation and games. Each evening there’s a programme for 15-18s and our detached youth team are out around the village; there are family events on several nights too.’
As a team member, you’ll work with a specific age group throughout the mission and build friendships with those you meet that allow you to talk about Jesus and what the Bible teaches. You’ll need stamina and a sense of humour, but if you’ve never worked with children or young people you’ll still be welcomed onto the team because the most important thing is that you love God and want to serve him. The rest you can learn as you go!
Abersoch mission has been running for over a hundred years in this seaside village, and we believe the future over the next few years will be an exciting time for the mission as we move forward and reach out.
