If you have a heart for children and a passion to see them grow, if you are willing to use your gifts and give a week of your summer to share your faith in the fascinating country of Slovakia , then this is the mission for you! Slovakia is a small country in the very heart of  Europe. What it lacks in size it certainly makes up for in its beauty.

Scripture Union summer camps enable the young generation of Slovakia to learn about, come to know and meet with God, in a safe environment, where they are valued for who they are. Slovak children get the opportunity to interact with other Slovak children, Slovak  leaders and British leaders, sharing their faith and cultures whilst having fun.

You would be involved in the preparation and delivery of a variety of activities… singing, drama, crafts, sports, Bible studies, English conversation, as well as getting alongside them, sharing, witnessing, studying the Bible, developing their English and having fun. Our aim is to make the children aware of God’s character and how he comes to life through people.

Do you have some members of your youth group (16+) that you feel would really benefit from an overseas missions experience? You could all join this team together and oversee them whilst encouraging them to develop their practical and leadership skills and also their faith.
