WordLive brings community to the heart of your Bible experience
From lunchtime today, WordLive 2.0 brings more social media muscle to your daily interaction with the Bible.
The new enhanced website now offers a more dynamic and interactive approach to help users engage with God through the Bible. We now have three streams that provide a wider range of choice for the WordLive user when it comes to creating their God moment.
Darren Hill, Senior Creative Developer at Scripture Union, comments: ‘The journey to WordLive 2.0 has been long, and our initial vision, at the conception of WordLive, is now being fulfilled.
Technology and the growth of other social platforms are finally at the level needed for WordLive to become a truly immersive and interactive environment. WordLive now provides more than Bible reading – this is the next phase of Bible engagement.’
The familiar face of WordLive becomes WordLive Classic and continues to deliver a daily Bible passage, podcast and image. The new tools enable users to share content on twitter and facebook, and add comments either publicly or privately in a journal on WordLive.
New: WordLive alt serves up a mix of media with more interactive tools that really put community at the heart of the alt experience. Sketches, animations, meditations, music, blogs, vlogs and pods – anything goes on the alt journey. Social and topical, funny and serious, alt is your conversation with God.
Being perfected in the WordLive kitchen, WordLive Lectio provides a space for you, the Bible and God. Inspired by Lectio Divina, it’s about offering a more reflective approach where space and sound combine with God’s inspiration.
So whatever your preferred approach, however you want to interact with God and have your life transformed by the wisdom of the Bible, WordLive offers a wealth of ways to make this happen.
