I'm a teenager get me out of here!

New style Scripture Union holiday to test if teenagers can survive the great outdoors
Date: 23/02/2010

Teenagers are being presented with a real challenge in the shape of a brand new Scripture Union holiday – SUrvival – one of 7 new holidays launching in 2010. Aimed at 11 to 14s who are up for a challenge, SUrvival is a short break holiday, during summer half term, in Derbyshire - but it’s not short on action! This holiday will throw up challenges such as racing against the clock to get to the next base camp, learning new skills in camping, orienteering and working as a team.

SUrvival is for teenagers wanting to have time out, a challenge, fun, a chance to make new friends, and opportunities to learn more about God.

It’s just one of around 100 holidays and missions run every year by Scripture Union volunteers and staff across England and Wales. The wide variety of holidays for young people aged 8 to 18 means there is something to suit everyone, including those with special needs. Scripture Union has been running holidays and missions for more than 100 years and last year nearly 4,000 children and young people greatly enjoyed and benefited from their time away in a Christian environment.

To book a place or for more information about SUrvival and all the other holidays on offer you can request the 2010 brochure by calling 01908 856177 or
