Media release: Christian ministries renew partnership

Send The Light Ltd (STL) and Scripture Union today signed a distribution contract which secures the distribution of Scripture Union books and resources for the next five years.

The deal, ensuring the widest availability of SU resources, marks a new milestone in the long ministry partnership between the two organisations. Leaders in the field of Christian resources, both are committed to developing and distributing quality Christian published products to build up the church and help spread the gospel.

Christian mission movement and publisher Scripture Union is one of STL's largest distribution partners in the UK. Its titles include the market-leading children's ministry resource New SALT, the best-selling book for primary school leavers It's Your Move! and its popular range of daily Bible reading notes, including Daily Bread and Encounter With God.

STL has operated in the UK for the past forty years, originating from Operation Mobilisation (OM). It is today the largest distributor of English-language Christian products in Europe, distributing over 20 million items in 2002. It owns the Wesley Owen Retail Group, a chain of forty Christian retailers, many of which began life as Scripture Union shops.
