Get Ready Go!

While you may remember your first day at secondary school, your first day at primary school might be a more hazy memory!

Nevertheless, starting primary school is a big change for child and parent alike and Scripture Union has sought to ease this tricky time with Get Ready Go! – a book for parents to use with children, that explains all that they might expect in their new school.

Sitting inside the back cover, there is a smaller book, Get Ready to let Go, containing advice and real-life stories of parents who have been through the traumatic time of sending their child to school for the first time!

Life, actually

Think back to when you were 16. Did you know what you were going to do? Did you have your heart set on a career from an early age? Or did you wonder exactly what life had in store for you.

Approaching GCSEs and beyond can be a confusing and scary time for 16-year-olds, but Life, actually seeks to give young people advice on what paths they can follow and what they can expect on the way.

Also, there are useful tips on surviving the new freedom and choices they will have before them. Is there a Year-11 group in a secondary school near you who might benefit from the advice that Life, actually has to offer?
