Supporting LightLive

Through LightLive, we want to enable churches to help children and young people grow in faith. And in order to equip as many leaders and churches as we can, LightLive is FREE OF CHARGE to users.  But is not free to produce!

LightLive puts a wealth of tried and tested Bible-based material at your fingertips so that children and young people can meet with God. Over 650 new activities are added to LightLive every three months in addition to over10,000 activities already stored in the archive.  

The material available is created by a team of expert editors at Scripture Union. Our editors are passionate about helping children and young people as they learn to follow Jesus throughout their lives and have fun doing this. Every session is written with a range of learning styles in mind and always offers you the leader plenty of choice in terms of finding the best approach for your group.

If you run a children’s group of eight children, the equivalent value of printed leaders’ material would cost you from as little as £1.40 per week (for material for two leaders). It really is great value!

The cost for providing you with leader's material is:

£18 per quarter per age group OR
£72 per quarter if you have 4 age groups or say £300 per year.

Supporters

Not all churches are able to able to afford the cost of providing resources to support their ministry with children and young people. Would you be willing to make a gift to sponsor such a church?  You could choose to give

  • £2 to sponsor one group for a single session
  • £20 to sponsor one group for a term
  • £90 to sponsor one group for a year

How to give

You can choose to make an Online Donation or, if you prefer, you can Donate by Post or by phone on 01908 856052.

You may wish to claim back the value of your donation from your church. After you have made a donation, you will receive an email receipt for this which you can then pass on to the appropriate person in your church. Please note that we are unable to claim Gift Aid on gifts from a church.
