Snow Switz is packed full of challenge, excitement, white stuff, goggle marks, friendship, revision and praising God. Whether you were hitting the slopes before you could walk, or you have yet to get out there, we accommodate for all abilities of skiing and boarding. Our qualified British instructors make the lessons fun and informative, and free ski time with other young people and leaders allows you to explore the slopes at your own pace.
Our Adelboden resort has an excellent range of slopes and there is a massive area of mountain to explore, with stunning views and great hot chocolate! The comfortable Swiss chalet, nestled in the village and close to the lifts, offers cosy accommodation and our great cook team provide ample amounts of heart-warming grub. Apres-ski activities include anything from photo challenges and ten-pin bowling to crazy games nights and cosy video evenings to wind down after a full day on the slopes. We also provide an opportunity and space each day for those with exams after Easter to revise which is supervised by members of the team.
Worship, talks, question nights and small groups all make up parts of our Bible based evening meetings. The informal atmosphere and committed team offers an opportunity for young people to experience and partake in vibrant discussions on relevant issues with each other. The laid back atmosphere means friendships are formed and relationships with God are developed. All this amongst the splendour of the mountains makes for a truly unforgettable week!
The trip meets in Chalfont St Peter, near London, and travels out to Switzerland by coach. Not everyone’s idea of fun but a great way to get to know each other, and an economic and environmentally friendly way to travel. Chalet Albo offers bedrooms for 2,3,4 and 6 people with boys and girls on separate floors. There is a large living and dining area, and a table tennis room, host to the traditional Snow Switz tournament. The price includes: travel, accommodation, three meals a day (excluding breakfast on the out and return journey for which no more than 15 Euros should be needed), lift pass, ski/board equipment (skis, poles and boots/board and boots), 5x 2 hour lessons with our own English instructors and winter sports insurance. The only spending money you will need is for a few hot chocolates on the slopes!
