Lakeland Challenge offers a fantastic week of outdoor activities in the heart of the Lake District.
Based in an outdoor centre on Windermere, this will be an unforgettable week of outdoor activities, adventure and new friends. Each day you’ll get to choose from a range of activities, such as Sailing, Climbing, Fell Walking, Gorge Walking, Kayaking and Mountain Biking. Subject to weather, you’ll get to try all of these activities, but if there are one or two you’d rather not do, that’s fine too.
In the safe hands of our qualified instructors you’ll experience the best the Lake District has to offer, on the mountain peaks and the lakes below. Whether you’re experienced in the activities or have never tried them before, you’re sure to find new challenges and lots of fun.
At the end of each day, you’ll return to our centre to be welcomed by warm showers and delicious cake. Each day we spend time looking at the Christian faith and the person of Jesus through informal discussion, small groups and interactive talks. Whether you’re a committed Christian or have never been to church in your life, there’s space to ask relevant questions and learn from each other’s experiences.
