So, Why God? takes genuine questions children have asked about God and Christianity and helps them find the answers through the Bible and through the testimony of their leaders. The So, Why God? resource book contains twelve sessions (in two blocks of six) for a midweek club or special event for children. The first six sessions look closely at who God is and takes the children through the story of Jesus on earth. The second six sessions look at hard issues Christians face. It is ideal for use as a children's discipleship course. Each session caters for groups of all sizes, aged 7 to 11, and is packed with ideas for games, listening to the Bible, relationship building, prayer, craft and fun!
The sessions in this programme are:
- What does God look like?
- How did God make people?
- Who was Jesus' real dad?
- Why did Jesus have to die?
- How did Jesus come back to life?
- How do we know the Bible is true?
- Do good people go to heaven?
- How do you know you are right with God?
- Why can't you see God?
- How do you know God hears you when you pray?
- Why does God let bad things happen to good people?
- Do you have to go to church to be a Christian?
