WasteWatchers Downloads

You are welcome to download the following resources for use in your Wastewatchers holiday club. They may be used or adapted for the non-profit purposes of your holiday club only, and may not be used for commercial gain. You can also use our forum to see what other people think, or buy the materials online if you haven't yet got your copies. You will need Adobe Reader to print the PDF files from this page.

The resources listed here are also available on the Wastewatchers DVD. For your convenience, all the following materials can also be downloaded in one zip file: Wastewatchers Resources (ZIP)

Wastewatchers Songs

What a load of rubbish - sheet music (PDF)
What a load of rubbish - OHP (PDF)
What a load of rubbish - PowerPoint (PPT)
Follow me (Learn and Remember song) - sheet music (PDF)
Follow me (Learn and Remember song) - OHP (PDF)
Follow me (Learn and Remember song) - Powerpoint (PPT)

Audio and backing tracks versions of these songs are included in MP3 format on the Wastewatchers DVD, available for purchase at £19.99. These can be copied onto audio CD using a CD writer.

The two Wastewatchers songs have proved difficult to locate on the Wastewatchers DVD. In previous holiday club DVDs, the songs have been accessible via the DVD menu, but, due to a change in DVD producers, this DVD is different. We will reinstate the songs on the DVD menu with our next holiday club programme! To locate the songs, open the DVD on a computer, rather than a DVD player. Instead of playing the content on the computer, open the DVD through Windows Explorer (if you have Windows XP, you will be given this option as soon as you insert the DVD) and choose the folder marked ‘ROM content’. The songs are in this folder.

You can find advice for producing an audio CD from these files on our Light web site.

Play samples: What a load of rubbish / Follow me
You can also purchase these songs as individual tracks at £0.79 each, or on the Bitesize Bible CD at £9.99.

You will also find songs suitable for your holiday club on our Light for Everyone and Reach Up! CDs.

Eye level

The Wastewatchers holiday club is a part of eye level, Scripture Union's initiative which challenges churches to catch up with children and young people who have not yet caught sight of Jesus and responded to him. Check out the eye level web site for more information. A series of programmes for midweek clubs, special events or a follow-up programme have been prepared, and High Five, an eight session follow-up programme looking at social justice issues is being prepared for use after Wastewatchers. This will be available in June 2007.
