Mrs Judith M Pilkington - died 12 May 2008

Mrs Pilkington wrote ‘As I have used Bible reading notes published by Scripture Union for much of my life and having met David (her husband) on a Scripture Union beach mission’,  she kindly left Scripture Union a legacy in her Will.

Judith wrote a letter that was found in her Will, which read:

“When making this Will I am very aware of how much the Lord has blessed us as a family with far more than material possessions and my prayer is that God will continue to bless you and keep you all and that you in turn will seek to honour and glorify Him. It has been one of my greatest joys that all our children have accepted Jesus as their own personal Saviour and Lord. My prayer is that our grandchildren will also follow Him. We have always felt that all we have is from God and we have tried to be good stewards. Whatever you may receive remember that ‘every good and perfect gift comes from above’ and that if you ‘seek first the Lord and his righteousness then all these things will be added to you.”
