The Max Bristol is an event run in partnership with local churches and supported by Scripture Union. 

The Max Bristol is a fast-moving evening that manages to pack games, videos, dramas, puppets and music into two hours. Volunteers are need to work with small groups of children to help them explore the Bible and engage with each other and the programme. But to make each event happen volunteers are also needed to organise registration, lighting and sound, administration, publicity and the upfront programme.

The core aims of The Max Bristol are:

  • To make Jesus known to children and encourage their relationship with him.
  • To provide an event that helps to resource and encourage local children's ministries.
  • To facilitate a style of worship that is accessible to children.
  • To see children inspired and equipped to share the gospel message with their own friends.
  • To demonstrate unity across denominations.

The Max Bristol is happening on 15 January, 12 March and 25 June 2011 and then taking a break during the summer and returning in September.
