Full-time Secondary School Worker
Salary: Not less than £14.4k rising incrementally
York Schools and Youth Trust is looking to appoint a new worker to fill a vacancy created
by the departure of a long standing member of the team. The successful applicant will
work in Secondary Schools, with a specific focus on developing the work with Key Stage 4
pupils (14-18s), which will involve working with Christian Union groups and taking a lead in
planning and delivering school Focus Weeks. They will also be involved in helping to
develop relevant city-wide projects. We are looking for a dynamic communicator who is
well organised and keen to share their Christian faith with this age group. Although prior
experience is desirable, ongoing support and training is available for an applicant who
demonstrates potential and can complement the existing team.
