Scripture Union's Family Ministry

Scripture Union believes the family is a fundamental building block of society and a key part of God's plans for humanity. 

The family provides a place of security and protection.  Here physical and spiritual life are nurtured, and the stories of God's actions told.  By instruction and example adults pass on the truths and values of the faith to the next generation.

We aim to support parents and carers in the bringing up of children in Christian faith.  PLease follow the link below for more details

We provide support for churches in their ministry to families and in reaching out to families in their community.

We organise a number of holidays where families can engage with the Bible together.  There are holidays for those with differing levels of Christian experience.  Families are welcome at many of our missions where there are special activities for them.  On some of our holiday and mission teams there are opportunities for families to serve together as team members.
