The Bible. What thoughts does it conjure up for you? Breathtaking or boring, wise or woolly, fact or fiction? For many people, the word is simply ‘irrelevant’ What‘s the Bible got to do with me? These references fill our vocabulary and culture. They make up some of life’s must know stories about loss and pain, heroism and friendship, life and death.
So whether you believe what the Bible says or not, wouldn’t it be useful to know the background behind the stories which shape our world, before they quietly slip into obscurity?
